We kayaked around the Isle of Wight in 2006. It was breathtaking.
It was bold. It was fun.
So let's have another challenge or two for 2007.
1. A Guinness Book of Records first to kayak round the Isle of Wight in a solar / wind assisted kayak.
2. A Guinness Book of Records first to kayak across the English Channel in a wind assisted / solar kayak.
 
Bath University is working in partnership to design and produce the prototype which will develop with the goal of the Holland 2009 Renewable Energy Championships. Valley Kayaks and Mega Kayaks are working with and supporting both projects. A long expedition rigged ocean solution or a short sea surfing answer?
